Dear Mr. President,

Please accept my warmest congratulations on your re-election as President of the United States of America. During your term, may the US thrive and flourish.

Over these next four years, I anticipate the further strengthening of the already extensive relations between our two countries. Armenia highly appreciates U.S. efforts to promote democracy, rule of law, peace and prosperity in Armenia and the South Caucasus. We remain committed to these principles and aspire to expand US-Armenia bilateral relations in order to promote those values both in our country and throughout the South Caucasus.

We will remain actively engaged in international efforts to fight the scourge of terrorism.

Your commitment to the innovative Millennium Challenge Account and our participation in it present a tangible opportunity to build the institutions of democracy in Armenia.

Continued US support and cooperation is highly appreciated by the Armenian people and has made a serious difference in the pace and quality of our development.

Of course, active US engagement in the Nagorno Karabakh peace process is a special part of our relationship. We hope that during your second term we will make serious progress in the process.

I look forward to working closely with you in the years to come for the fulfillment of our noble goals and to the benefit of our two nations.

Sincerely,

ROBERT KOCHARIAN
