Since 1991, the Armenian Government has moved quickly and effectively to establish friendly and close diplomatic and economic ties with the outside world. Over 50 countries have officially established diplomatic relations.


U.S. OFFICIAL DETAILS ARMENIAN SUPPORT TO WAR IN AFGHANISTAN

A U.S. military official disclosed on Monday details of Armenia's support for the American military campaign in Afghanistan, saying that Yerevan not only opened its airspace to U.S. warplanes but also offered Armenian airfields for their possible emergency landings.

Foreign Embassies and Diplomatic Missions in Armenia

Many countries have opened embassies and missions in Armenia, namely, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Egypt, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, India, Iran, Lebanon, Romania, Russia, Sovereign Military Order of Malta, Syria, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Uruguay and others.
