1 recent professional color passport-size photograph, stapled or glued to the application form

The original Passport valid for at least the next 6 months

If traveling with any Travel Document other than the National Passport or a UNLP (i.e. Permit To Reenter the United States, Refugee Travel Document), please be sure to submit the photocopy of Birth Certificate and detailed street address of stay in the Republic of Armenia. The holders of the above-mentioned Travel Documents, who are originally from Armenia, will not be granted entry visas. According to the Law they are considered citizens of the Republic of Armenia and must possess a valid Armenian passport.

If applying for a Transit visa you must submit a photocopy of a valid visa for the country of main destination and/or airline tickets.

Method of Payment

MONEY ORDER or CHECK in US Dollars payable to the Embassy/Consulate General of Armenia.

(Please, refrain from sending cash. Credit cards are not accepted)

If applying by mail

Please include in your original shipment:

ü   PREPAID RETURN ENVELOPE of any registered mail with a tracking number

or

ü    Separate MONEY ORDER or CHECK payable to the Embassy/Consulate General in the amount of US$15.00, if overnight FedEx service is requested

Types of Visa, Duration of Stay, Fee Schedule and Processing Time

If You plan to stay in Armenia for a period …

ü      … Not exceeding 3 days – and if your stay in Armenia is associated with your travel plans to and from another destination, you may wish to apply for a Transit Visa, provided that you possess a valid entry document to the country of your main destination.

ü     … Not exceeding 21 days, we will gladly process your application for a single entry Tourist Visa without an invitation letter.

ü      … Of 21 - 90 days, please be sure to have verified Invitation (refer to the section below).

ü      … Exceeding 90 days, please apply to the Passport and Visa Department at the Police Service of Armenia for a one year Temporary Residence Card (Address – 13 A Mashtots Street, Yerevan, Armenia; Tel. (3741) 53-43-91 or (3741) 52-14-16).

If You have an invitation to travel to Armenia …

ü      … Please make sure that your inviting party has verified the invitation (for business travelers (Business visa), invitation letters should be verified at the Consular Department of the Armenian Foreign Ministry; for private travelers (Ordinary visa) - at the Passport and Visa Department of the Ministry of Interior in Yerevan). Confirmations for business travelers are received at the Embassy or Consulate General via Internet. Private traveler must submit the original invitation form.

If Your stay in Armenia is associated with your travel plans to and from another destination on the territory of any other Newly Independent State (NIS) …

ü      … Please be advised that travel to and transit through each NIS country requires a separate national visa.
