NOTARIZATION OF DOCUMENTS

General Information:

The Consular Offices of the Republic of Armenia are authorized to notarize public documents intended for use in the Republic of Armenia, as well as in the United States or other countries, if the document being notarized is related to the citizens of the Republic of Armenia or previous activity of foreign citizens in Armenia.

The consular officer is authorized to implement the following notary functions:

Certification of the Agreements, Powers of Attorney, Public Letters etc.;
Certification of the authenticity of the signature;
Certification of copies and photocopies of documents;
Certification of authenticity of translation of documents from Armenian into English and vice versa;
Certification of the identity of person;
Certification of all other documents the content of which is not in contradiction to the legislation and ethic norms of the Republic of Armenia and the United States of America.
